The rain stopped and a rainbow stretched across the bay at A Coruna – it was truly biblical.
The people emerged from their boats where they had been cowering, and they rejoiced.
As I write – there are church bells ringing out across the city !
…and the guys from Marina Seca have just re-fitted my alternator and it all works – hurray!
A visit to the Royal Yacht Club Bar ??? (G&T’s all round?)
Im sorry to say that the RCNC is not as salubrious as the one in Baiona 🙂
They are very active though – http://www.rcncoruna.com/
Just don’t get too carried away and start trying to walk on water, might be a it harder to fix your personal alternator(not that a Spaniard would ever admit that)
Amazingly, a really nice, quiet and studious man came and took the alternador away – fixed it and refitted it.
Another guy who spoke good English came with him and explained what they had done and apologised that it too a week while they waited for a spares kit.
It all seems to work….time will tell..
I will get the bill this morning….
So you will soon be off on your travels again?
Let’s hope for no more technical hitches.
Praise be and safe passage to you x
What an amazing camera shot Russ…your reflexes are superb.
Then I thought check it out with Google images & was informed that you had been joined by Noah’s Dove…a truly wonderful omen & sadly much too beautiful & sacred to barbecue.
